Vibration Monitoring

Identify, Measure & Control Workplace Vibration Exposure

Excessive vibration exposure can cause long-term and irreversible health effects. We provide professional vibration monitoring services across New Zealand to help businesses manage both Hand-Arm Vibration (HAVS) and Whole-Body Vibration (WBV) risks from tools, plant, and vehicles.

Our team includes Certified Occupational Hygienists and former WorkSafe NZ specialists, experienced in vibration assessment in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Regulations 2016 and ISO 5349 / ISO 2631 standards.

We help organisations quantify exposure, identify high-risk tasks, and implement effective controls to protect worker health and maintain compliance.

Our Vibration Monitoring Services

Hand-Arm Vibration (HAV) Assessment

We measure vibration transmitted from powered tools to operators’ hands and arms to determine daily exposure levels (A(8)) and assess compliance with exposure limits.

Whole-Body Vibration (WBV) Assessment

We assess vibration exposure through seats or platforms in vehicles and mobile plant to manage risks such as lower back disorders, spinal injury, and operator fatigue.

Vibration Control & Engineering Recommendations

We provide practical, site-specific control advice including equipment substitution, maintenance programs, operator rotation, administrative controls, and training to reduce exposure at the source.

Why Vibration Monitoring Matters

Vibration exposure is often gradual but can lead to serious long-term health effects if not managed properly.
